A New Year!!!

Well if you are familiar with our work and have been to the blog before you are probably noticing that things look a little different. While we loved our old design and logo, we just really felt it was time for a change and what better time then around the start of a new year. We met with Lauren Ledbetter a while back ago, after having worked a wedding with her, just to get to know her more. Wow! She blew us away with her kind heart, her connection to all things design, and her style, all of which were so much the things we enjoyed as well. We knew that we had to work with her! So we chatted and got things in motion! Seriously, she really understood who we are as photographers and as a married couple and even as a family. It was  amazing the connection we had with her. We did this new design work etc, to help those who follow us and those who hire us really get a feel of who we are.

We feel that one of the biggest things in being able to tell a wedding story beautifully is having a connection with people. Couples need to feel connected to us in order to be able to truly open up and be real with us. When a couple is real it really shows through in their photographs. The bride and groom  feel connected to the photos, family and friends feel connected to the photos,  it’s not just pretty images. It is a beautiful story of beautiful images connecting people who were there and even for those who were not there to something more than just photos,  it connects them to the story of the Bride & Groom coming together and starting an even bigger story of marriage!

We have a been a lil slow with blogging lately due to the holidays, and due to this new lil addition, Reuben Monroe.

We will be getting back into the routine of things this month and look forward to sharing more with you all very soon!
